Hawaii papaya

Hawaii papaya is a famous papaya breeding in the US, it is quite small in size. The fruit has hard peel, yellow skin, orange red flesh, a sweet taste, and each papaya is only about 600 grams. Hawaii papayas could be harvested for the first time after 8 months of growing. Hawaii papayas also are grown in Japan’s two major regions, Okianawa and Miyazaki, those places have climate conditions similar to tropical area with a lot of sunshine that suitable for growing papaya.
In Vietnam, consumers know this type of papaya as Japanese Mini Papaya, they are sold at a very high price of about 990,000 VND / kg.
