Enrolling in HortEx Vietnam 2019 – The 2nd International Exhibition & Conference for Horticultural Floricultural Production and Processing Technology in Vietnam from Mar 13 to Mar 15, 2019 at SECC, district 7.
Unifarm displayed the most prestigious and good-tasting products such as Banana, Musk melon, especially solar dried banana.
Instead of getting banana dried by sunshine traditionally, we used high-tech green house solar Parabola Dome. Banana materials are chosen from our farm which meet Vietgap standards. Especially, solar dried banana is made naturally with no added sugar or preservation.

Dried banana has natural sweet, flavor, appealing appearance and full of nutrients that we can enjoy immediately or use as an ingredient for making cookies or cocktails. Additionally, our muskmelons have presented in most of the biggest supermarket nationwide and the distribution proportion between inbound and outbound market is 50/50. Furthermore, Unifarm has grown many other fruits and citrus fruits. IDO longan originated from Thailand with outstanding advantages: thin peel, small seed, thick flesh, sweet flavor…which have been purchased by many consumers. Fruits from Unifarm are grown and taken care by dedicated farmers applying high-tech agriculture farming methods.

An appealing High-Tech Agriculture Park project submitted to and launched by Mr. Mai Huu Tin, President of U&I Group. Then, CEO Pham Quoc Liem put all of his effort, consistency and passion into this high-tech agriculture park. We registered and gained Vietgap certificate at the very first season after 3 months of planting because we had paid attention to Vietgap standard at the beginning. “We are one of the first few corporations have grown Muskmelon successfully in Vietnam”, CEO Pham Quoc Liem proudly said.

“Our farm was established with the commitment of the leaders of Binh Duong province to build a high-tech agricultural area, creating high value and then transfer it widely to farmers. But planting muskmelon must have greenhouse, while investing this one in 2009-2010 costs tens of billions Vietnam dong per hectare, so it is difficult to transfer to farmers “- CEO Pham Quoc Liem said.
Facing challenges made our leaders come up with many new projects such eggplant, asparagus, and other vegetables. The market changed unprecedentedly, we needed times in order to find out suitable plants which would be accepted by consumers. Besides, to expand the farm, it costed us money and time at the beginning. Those trouble made us have to think carefully before we could take the next step.

“In 2011, after about 20 times testing, Unifarm found out banana tree would be suitable for this area and easily transfer to farmers later. Receiving support from specialists from Israel, automatic computerized irrigation & fertilizer application, our farm produced good-tasting and high quality products which could put in comparison with banana from Philippines”. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Truong Thanh, Marketing Department Manager, U&I Corporation said.
Unifarm have been enrolled in many exhibitions in Vietnam. Last month, Unifarm and 6 others exhibitors was chosen by Ministry of Industry and Trade of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Vietnam Association of Vegetables participating in Fruit Logistica Berlin 2019 from Feb 06 to Feb 08, 2019, attracted about 3,077 exhibitors, more than 76,000 business man and visitors from around the world.
HortEx Vietnam was organized the first time in 2018 that attracted 110 exhibitors from 18 countries and more than 4,530 trade visitors from many countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, China, USA.
